As I am still learning to draw, I need lots and lots and lots of practise. But I don’t really have a good way or system to measure that practise, so here’s an attempt. Every now and then, I’ll draw for 4 hours and stop as soon as the timer goes off.
The first battle scene comes to a close!
Starting to pick up the pace now!
Alright, so this ended up taking a bit longer than promised. But I have a good reason for it! Basically, in the last week and change, I’ve built a PC (nightmarish – no idea what I was doing) and started streaming, as well as generally making other efforts to keep myself together. Pallet town is actually just really dangerous when you think about it.
There’s not been much bloggy stuff going on lately; I’ve been busy with that whole War Stores thing, the writing of which was the reason for creating this blog in the first place, but just because I’m doing a lot of writey stuff doesn’t mean I can’t indulge in some drawey stuff too.
This week’s drawings are Pokémon based, because I actually love Pokémon way more than I love Steven Universe and my doodling habits should reflect that.
Just a quick art entry this week, courtesy of onlyfragments, who described Lapis Lazuli’s current characterization in Steven Universe as “Daria-esque”. I decided to draw it.
