Oh god. It’s been over a week. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry! I told myself I’d update this daily – and I still stand by that! This was just a blip. The first of many, I’m sure. Since my last post I just plumb ran out of spoons. Stuff got on top of me and I became a wreck. Happens to the best of us, right? But I’ve built myself back up now and it’s back to business as usual. I don’t have anything to tell you writing-wise though so get ready for me to talk about videogames. I told you I’d do this. I warned you.
About the image, don’t ask. Couldn’t think of an appropriate image so you get a WoW selfie.
I’ve done it! After a lot of work and worries that I’d have to eat my own words, I have successfully condensed my entire story idea into one page. It has the tentative working title of War Stores. I was thinking Store Wars but that would be pointless pun given that this has nothing to do with Star Wars. Anywhere, here it is. The whole dish-darn thing:
I knew it wouldn’t be long before I broke my “one post a day” rule, and it definitely won’t be the last time either. In my defense, my anxiety decided that all that time I spent trying to sleep the last couple of days would be better spent having random adrenaline surges and feeling prickly itching across every inch of my skin. So I’ve been a bit zoned out. Also, sometimes my cat just needs lots of hugs.
Well it’s 1am and I didn’t do any actual work writing today so I’ll just do a veeery quick Huffblog then be on my merry way.
Bit of a shorter blog post today, and a bit of a shorter work day for me in general… In my defense, I have a WoW Raid coming up! I’m a Miffick Rayder! It’s impertent! I’ve got to do do do the heals! They’ll DIE without me. THEY’LL DIE.
NaNoWriMo day 1 is over, and though the official website encourages you to post your word count at the end of each and every day, that sounds to me like the worst possible way to write a novel. So I’ve ignored all that and am instead spending Week 1 on planning and preparation. According to the site you could have/should have done that during September and October, but that seems like cheating. Are we doing this novel in one month, or three?
